UCM ATV Fun Adventure in San Mateo, Rizal

Introduction

Hi guys, I’m Say and I love adventure! Let me share my UCM ATV Adventure this 2021! 

This adventure was initially planned to happen last November 2020, but because of the pandemic and scheduling conflict, it took us a while to decide on a date. And finally last January 2021, our trip came to life! LOL

As you may know, this is my 2nd adventure for the year, my first one was the Abuab Falls DIY Tour (you can check it out!). For this trip, 2 of my friends and I went to the UCM ATV Park in Rizal. Sadly, some of our other friends were not able to join. But the overall experience was definitely fun and enjoyable!

What is UCM ATV Park? 

UCM Group of Companies is a recreational sports company focused on providing quality products and services. UCM ATV Park is located in San Mateo, Rizal. This is the closest ATV adventure park in Manila. So for those adrenaline junkies and sports enthusiasts, feel free to visit them! They’re open from 6 am- 6 pm, daily. The adventure park offers horseback riding, camping, and 2 options for ATV trails! 

Preparing for my trip 

Before going to the park, I had to call UCM Management and ask if we could reschedule our booking for another date because of our schedule conflicts. Luckily enough, the management agreed with the changes and asked us to sign an acknowledgment form. (Yaaay!)

How to get there to UCM ATV Park? 

By Car

Traveling from Manila to adventure Park usually takes about 30-40 minutes, the ATV Park is located in the mountainous areas of San Mateo where the road is narrow and steep. To get there you can search the location in Waze. 

By Public Transport 

The Park offers a shuttle service from Marikina to UCM ATV park. I’m not sure if they offering it now, but you can always contact them through their communication channels.

ATV Rental: Php 1,500.00/ hour

 (*they have rates if you want to rent it longer and explore the venue further)

The ATV Adventure

Before riding along the roads around the adventure park, UCM requires all visitors to undergo a briefing where they discuss what to expect, what not to bring, and safety protocols. We had to listen attentively to our leader and sweeper for safety! 

Aside from the briefing session, they also taught us how to ride the ATV so we could get a hang of it! We were given 2 trials before actually riding off and explore the place. 

The trail towards the hilltop was a rough and muddy road, which is good! Because the muddier they are the more exciting the experience!! haha 

When we arrived at the hilltop we took some photos overlooking Laguna de Bay and parts of Sierra Madre. If you are on the other side you can see the Pililia Windfarm and Tanay.

This was my second time riding an ATV, the trail and the overall experience was truly fun, enjoyable, and exhilarating!!
